Ｗ126のドアミラーの豆知識として書きました。
大変耐久性に優れ、コストダウン前の素晴らしい作りこみです。
当時折り畳みがないのもありますが、それにしても内部のモーターなどは、現代のものに比べ故障が少ないと言えます。
左は手動で上下レバーは時代を感じさせますね。
右は電動なので、コンソールスイッチで上下に調整できます。
グレード年式で、曇り止め機能がついています。
ミラーに刺さる配線がそうですね。
格納機能は、都内に在住の方は少しきついかも、、、。
町田市も駐車スペースがそれなりに確保されているので、格納しなくても特に不便は感じませんね。
ただお隣に駐車した方は、少しウザいかもですね。(^-^;
Ｗ124のほうが若干小さいのでまだ良いと思います。
さて弊社のリペア方法ですが、分解も少しコツと、構造が分かっていないとミラーを割るリスクがあるので、ＤＩＹではお勧めしませんのでよろしくお願いします。

ミラーは重量がありズッシリです。
外側のカバーは、オリジナルはボディーカラーではなく、腰下のグレーですが私はボディ同色にするのが好きですね。
内側ミラー面に見える骨組みの部分（本体）は艶消しブラックとなっており、どちらも経年劣化で色あせて汚く見えます。
ゴムパーツも本来塗装しませんが、やはり汚いので薄く艶消しブラックで後に色を入れます。

まずは分解です。
ミラーを割らないように慎重にばらしていきますが、過去に5基くらいは割ってしまったと思います。。。(^-^;
The first is decomposition.

枠部分（本体）とカバーはボディ同色（今回は199ブルーブラック）に塗装し、ゴム部分は薄く艶消しブラックで塗装しました。
ミラーは清掃しておきます。
Frame portion (the body) and the cover is painted the same color in the body (in this case, 199 blue-black), rubber part was painted with a thin matte black.
Mirror Leave cleaning.
後はグリスアップしながら丁寧に組付けて完成です！
オリジナルに拘るオーナー様はオリジナルのカラーで塗装でいいと思います。
本体とカバーが同色でスッキリ綺麗にリペアできました。
The rest is completed assembled carefully with greasing up!
